The Systems Engineer will ensure the smooth design, operation, and maintenance of the production systems across our campuses. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and be able to collaborate with various ministries to support and maintain our production environments.

 

What We Are Looking For

• 1-2 years of experience in an AVL production role
• Technical knowledge in the following:
  • Dante and other IP-driven protocols
  • Q-Sys control systems
  • Yamaha, Midas, and Behringer audio console platforms
  • Intermediate networking understanding with a focus on Unifi and Netgear devices
  • Intermediate lighting control understanding with a focus on CueServer, GrandMA, Chauvet, and Elation devices
  • Intermediate video control understanding with a focus on Ross Video and Blackmagic Design devices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with various ministries

Primary Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues for various systems across our campuses and ministries
• Monitor and troubleshoot all systems for broadcast services and events
• Analyze and communicate solutions to prevent future issues
• Create and maintain documentation related to production issues and resolutions
• Coordinate with production technicians to ensure proper deployment and supported systems updates
• Assist in the design elements to create meaningful and impactful environments for various ministries
• Regular travel to campuses is required, including frequent local day trips, and several overnight trips throughout the year
