COVID-19 Reopening Plan

We look forward to meeting together with you again soon. As we reopen services, we will do so in a manner that closely adheres to recommendations from the CDC and state leadership. Anyone attending a Crossing service in person will be required to pre-register for the service and location they plan to attend every week until all restrictions are lifted.

Because The Crossing is a church in multiple locations, pick the state where you typically attend Crossing services

FAQs

What precautions are being taken to keep everyone safe at church services?
  • We will limit attendance in each service in each venue to adhere to CDC and state guidelines for gatherings.
  • Hand sanitizer will be readily available in multiple places at all of our locations.
  • Attendance and contact information will be taken at every service for contact tracing.
  • Staff will be wearing masks
  • We will be encouraging all people to wear masks and will have masks to give to people while supplies last.
How do I register to attend a service?

Select the state of your campus above to register.

What do I do if I registered for a service, but can no longer attend?

Call your campus phone number and let them know.

Why do I have to provide information and pre-register for services?
We are asking everyone attending our services in-person to register for two reasons:
  1. To ensure that we have enough space in each service and so that we can open additional services if we reach capacity in our standard service times.
  2. In the event that someone attends one of our services and later tests positive for COVID-19, we want to be able to quickly communicate with everyone who attended that service that they should monitor for symptoms. Jesus’ second greatest commandment was to love our neighbors as ourselves and we believe one way we can love our neighbors is to take proactive measures to help protect the health of the people in our church.
Will there be a church service for my kids?

We are not offering kids ministry at this time. Your children may attend the service with you. We will provide kids ministry kits for kids to interact with during service. We also encourage parents to bring devices with the Superbook app for kids to use during service.

How are decisions being made about when we gather at church again?

We are following the guidelines given by the CDC and state government. We are also working in conjunction with local officials.

If I have interacted with someone that has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days, but I have not tested positive, can I attend church?

The second greatest command is to love your neighbor as yourself. In an effort to be Godly and neighborly we would ask that if you think you are at risk you would continue worshipping online. You can visit our online services HERE

Am I required to wear a mask at church?

We will have a limited quantity of masks available at all locations. We do not currently require masks to participate in our services. If you are more comfortable wearing a mask you are welcome to do so.

Why are we opening when schools are closed?

While we used the school system as a barometer of whether to close our services because of the summer we are not able to use them to help us in our decision to open. That is why we are following all of the guidelines given to us by the CDC and state government.

I have other questions or concerns.

Email us at [email protected] and we will get back to you shortly.
