Trusted with More
Growing up in the Methodist Church I was taught to tithe. Thinking back through my life I can easily see the tightest pocket book times were when I wasn't tithing. It was paycheck to paycheck. I probably even thought to myself, "you have no savings, which means you don't have enough to tithe". But, at some point during college, I knew I needed to be tithing as a Christian. It became a habit easily. I've been faithful and God has been faithful. Every time I got a raise, I thought, "He is trusting me with more". It made me connect my success more with God than with my achievements.
