Resources
The Crossing Preschool is a ministry of The Crossing; where it is our passion and purpose to encourage people to seek an intimate personal relationship with Christ. The leadership and staff strive to help others grow in their faith in Jesus Christ. It is through our leadership and passion for Jesus that we are offering this ministry opportunity.
The theme of the Early Childhood Ministries at The Crossing is: “Planting seeds of Christ that will last a lifetime.” We want to assist parents in planting seeds of God’s love in their children. We believe that when we plant the seed, the Lord will grow each child into a passionate believer in Christ.
aOur purpose at The Crossing Preschool is to provide an atmosphere of Christian love, safety, support, social enrichment, and academic excellence for every child as they prepare for kindergarten.
Who We Are
The Bible and alphabet will be incorporated as our main curriculum; which will be accentuated with holidays, weather, field trips, and show and tell! First Semester curriculum will emphasize letter and number recognition as well as writing; and second semester it will emphasize reading and Spanish. Calendars will go home at the beginning of the month with what will be taught that month.
For instance, one week in the fall, we will focus on A for apple and Adam. We will practice their names, letters and numbers and in the spring we will begin working on reading for those students who are ready.
